Would you like to learn how to start a ministry at your church of using plastic bags to make sleeping mats for the homeless? Eastern Hills Baptist in Montgomery will be hosting a Mat Ministry Workshop this Saturday (Oct. 26) 9 a.m.-noon.

Oct. 26 workshop will teach how to use plastic bags to make sleeping mats for the homeless

Since 2017, Karla Groves has been leading a group from Eastern Hills Baptist Church and other churches in Montgomery to use plastic shopping bags to make sleeping mats for the homeless. They’ve been teaching other groups to do it too. (Read the full story here.)

Would you like to learn? Eastern Hills Baptist will be hosting a Mat Ministry Workshop this Saturday (Oct. 26) from 9 a.m. to noon in the church gym.
