The centennial celebration of Olive Branch Baptist Church, Ashland, in Carey Baptist Association, got Pastor Wayne Adams “looking forward to another 100 years.”
About 130 participants received centennial Bibles provided by the church following the morning service in which southern gospel group Redemption Song performed and Alabama Baptist Historical Commission representative Tom Allen presented a plaque. Also during the July 19 service, a history of the church was read. Overall the service was a great time of celebration and sharing, Adams said.
