Online registration for the 2006 Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) annual meeting in Greensboro, N.C., is open.
Churches will be able to register their messengers online at the SBC Web site, www.sbc.net, to avoid waiting at the counter upon arrival at the convention meeting.
When registering online, the SBC Web site gives a church a “messenger reference number” form to be printed out and presented by each messenger at the SBC registration booth in exchange for a nametag and set of ballots. The form will have the messenger’s reference number on it. The reference number is required to receive a nametag and set of ballots.
The appropriate church-authorized representative must complete all online registration.
Names can be added, edited and deleted up to June 10, when registration ends at midnight. After June 10 at midnight, registration must be done at the registration desk beginning at 4 p.m. June 11.
Registration is also open for families planning to enroll their children in the preschool child care or the children’s conference in conjunction with the annual meeting.
Child care for infants through 2 year olds will be available from Sunday afternoon through Wednesday.
Registration information may be obtained in one of three ways:
– e-mailing tjackson@pgbc.com, including the sender’s name and address.
– downloading a set of forms for each child at www.sbc.net, “Children/Students.”
– writing to SBC Childcare, Pleasant Garden Baptist Church, P.O. Box 157, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313.
Children ages 3–4 will be part of the children’s conferences, along with other age-graded conferences for ages 5–9 and 10–12.
