Ozment: Ghana

Ozment: Ghana

As we moved to our assignment in Ghana, here are some things we brought with us.

First we need to make sure that we have a good supply of patience as we settle in.

Then we will need to save some back for the nationals in Ghana, just until they adjust to our way of doing things.
Next we must be sure we have some humility, quite a large dose I’d expect, for all those times we look foolish as we try to blend in where the language, culture, environment and people are different from what we are accustomed to.

Because we are bound to look foolish a lot, we were sure to pack our sense of humor and be ready to laugh along with those who laugh at us.

We have been told by those who have made the journey before us to take an ample supply of courage and faith.
We are concerned that our supply of these two are not going to be enough, so if you have any extra, you might send it to us.

The most important thing for us to have is the love of Jesus. If we have enough of that, our mission will be successful. Pray the prayer for us that never fails, “Thy will be done.”
