Padgett, Edmondson

Former Alabama Baptist Pastor Grover Edmondson Padgett of Collinsville died Oct. 25. He was 86.
Padgett served as pastor of several churches in Dekalb and Cherokee counties, including Pleasant Valley #1 Baptist, Yellow Creek Baptist and New Bethel Baptist of Lookout Mountain Baptist Association. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist at the time of his death.
Padgett is preceded in death by his son. He is survived by his wife, Margie; one daughter, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. (TAB)
