Parker Memorial Baptist finishes renovation

Parker Memorial Baptist Church, Anniston, in Calhoun Baptist Association recently completed a $4.2 million-renovation project. The renovation of the sanctuary began as a small project in September 2004 but grew after structural and wiring problems were discovered. A dedication service will be held July 23 and a celebration service will be held Aug. 27. Christian song artist Steve Green will join the congregation in the celebration service and present a concert later that evening. Bruce Hodge is interim pastor.
