Robert Parrish retired as pastor of Southside Baptist Church, Fayette. He will continue preaching twice a month and assisting the pastor search committee until June, when the church will host a retirement luncheon celebrating his 26 years of ministry.
Parrish also works as a church planting coach with the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. He previously served as pastor of Rocky Point Baptist Church, Carthage, Mississippi, and Victory Baptist Church, Hammond, Louisiana. Parrish holds an associate of divinity degree from New Orleans Seminary.
He and his wife, Debbie, have two children and five grandchildren.
