Autauga Baptist Association and Pathways Professional Counseling have joined together to provide a counselor for those in and around Autauga County.
Kenyon Knapp, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, a professor at Troy University’s Montgomery campus and Pathways Professional counselor, now provides family and individual counseling at the Autauga Association office Mondays and Fridays, 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
Bill Morgan, Autauga Association director of missions, said this is a result of years of talking with Pathways about a partnership. He is excited about the potential impact on the area’s churches.
Pathways is a family ministry of the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries (ABCH). This new counseling site moves Pathways one step closer to fulfilling the ABCH Priorities for Growth, which calls for 38 counseling sites to be established by 2010. There are now 33 sites.
