Retired Alabama Baptist pastor Adolph Phares died Nov. 12. He was 77. A native of Moundville, Phares served as a pastor for 55 years in seven churches in Marion, Greene, Tuscaloosa and Mobile counties as well as churches in Florida and Indiana.
