Pine Barren Association on mission

A team of 20 representing Bethlehem, Pine Barren, Clarke and Baldwin Baptist associations traveled to New Mexico July 11–20.

The team did construction work on Gospel Victory Baptist Church, Bloomfield, and held VBS for both children and adults. During the adult VBS, John Marks, director of missions for Bethlehem and Pine Barren associations, taught the Book of James. The children used LifeWay Christian Resources’ VBS materials.

There were 15 adults and children baptized by the group, and Marks married a Navajo couple who wanted a Christian wedding.
