Pine Barren Baptist Association celebrates 175th anniversary

Pine Barren Baptist Association celebrated its 175th anniversary at the association’s annual meeting Oct. 12 at Christian Way Baptist Church, Camden.

Pastor Charles Autery served as moderator. Special music was provided by Rebecca Hicks, director of worship and children’s ministries at Camden Baptist. The association was honored with a special presentation by Jim Lambert, a commissioner of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, with Autery accepting the plaque. Several Alabama Baptist entities shared about their ministries. Greg Davis, president of ALCAP, was the guest preacher. Steve Dunn is the associational missionary.
