Pleasant Ridge Church, Hueytown, retreat

Pleasant Ridge Church, Hueytown, will host its women’s weekend retreat. Conference leader will be well-known author and speaker Edna M. Ellison. The event begins Jan. 20 with a viewing of tablescapes at 4 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and the first session at 7 p.m. Events Jan. 21 include morning muffins and lunch with the event ending at 1 p.m. A nursery for children ages 1–6 will be provided.
