TAB Talks

Kristyn Getty

On this week’s TAB Talks, award-winning Christian hymn writer and singer Kristyn Getty shares about balancing life in the music industry with her husband, Keith, and their four young daughters. She also shares about her new album “Evensong: Hymns and Lullabies at the Close of Day” — which was released by Getty Music to mark Kristyn’s 40th birthday this year.

A special concert performance of “Evensong” premiered globally online in early September as part of the Gettys’ annual four-day Sing! Conference, which was presented virtually for the first time this year due to the pandemic. Around 15,000 people registered for the event, and more than 250,000 people watched worldwide.

The Gettys — Irish modern hymn writers — gained worldwide fame with the 2001 release of their debut recording “In Christ Alone,” which was written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend.

Co-hosting this week’s TAB Talks with host Jennifer Davis Rash is TAB ministry partner Terry Newberry, who served a stint with Integrity Music in the early 90s.
