Matt Brown is the new pastor of Poplar Springs Church, Uriah. His first Sunday was Oct. 4. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile and a master’s degree from Liberty University School of Divinity in Lynchburg, Virginia. He previously served as associate pastor/youth pastor for Excel Church; youth pastor for Calvert Church; and assistant director at Camp Whispering Pines in Citronelle. He and his wife, Sara, have one daughter.
