Spiritual awakening. Revival. Spirit-filled churches.
These and others may be phrases you toss around as you lead a congregation, but what can you do as a pastor to see such things happen in your church, state and nation?
The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions (SBOM) has set Sept. 15–16 as Praying Alabama, a time for pastors to gather at Liberty Park Baptist Church, Vestavia Hills, to pray for revival together.
The event will begin Monday at 6 p.m. and conclude Tuesday at noon.
Speakers will include Rick Lance, executive director of the SBOM; Tim Cox, pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, Chelsea; Mark Foley, president of the University of Mobile; David Cofield, pastor of CrossRoads Baptist Church, Rogersville; Don Graham of Don Graham Revival Ministries in Athens; Craig Carlisle, pastor of 12th Street Baptist Church, Rainbow City; Chris Crain, pastor of North Valley Church, Odenville; Mike Jackson, director of the office of leadership and church health of the SBOM; and Ronnie Floyd (via video), pastor of Cross Church in Northwest Arkansas and president of the Southern Baptist Convention.
