Professor to Present Faculty Concert:

The UM Center for Performing Arts will present soprano Melba Brown, associate professor of music and director of vocal studies, in a faculty concert April 12 at 7 p.m. in Weaver Auditorium. A reception will follow in Martin Hall lobby.

The concert will be a farewell for Brown, who will retire in May from full-time teaching at UM, where she has taught for nearly 17 years. She will continue serving as adjunct instructor in voice.
