The Crusader (fourth- through sixth-graders) basketball team of Hilldale Baptist Church, Center Point, in Birmingham Baptist Association won first place in the Crusader division of the recent state RA/Challenger Basketball Tournament. About 20 Alabama Baptist churches entered teams with a total of 266 players competing in the Crusader, Junior High Challengers and Senior High Challengers divisions.
