Richard P. Reedy Sr., who served as pastor at seven churches in Alabama, died Jan. 31. He was 80.
A native of Pensacola, Reedy served at Shady Grove Baptist Burnsville; Autaugaville Baptist Hayden; First Baptist, Silverhill Gate City Baptist, Birmingham First Baptist, Summerdale; and Magnolia Springs Baptist, Magnolia.
Reedy also served as interim at Lillian Baptist Church, Lillian, and Magnolia Springs Baptist.
He is survived by his wife Melanie; two sons; a stepdaughter and stepson; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. (TAB)
