MORGAN ASSOCIATION
Rex Looney is the new minister of worship and discipleship at First Baptist Church, Hartselle. He comes from serving in the role of associate pastor of worship ministries at First Baptist Church, Tanner, since 2018.
He previously served as associate pastor/worship and senior adults at CrossPointe Church, Madison; associate pastor of music and adults at Capshaw Baptist Church; and minister of music and senior adults at Shiloh Baptist Church, Saraland; and as a full-time evangelist.
Looney studied at the University of Mobile and was ordained to the ministry in 1996.
He and his wife, Mitzi, have three children and two granddaughters.
