Ridgedale Church, Scottsboro, 66 years of ministry

Ridgedale Church, Scottsboro, which recently celebrated 66 years of ministry, held its closing service Sept. 7 with a former pastor, Sammy Gilbreath, preaching. The facilities will be used for a new church plant currently being organized in Scottsboro. Jeff Mann, former director of missions for Tennessee River Association, will serve as pastor.  The opening date is projected in October. Dwight Everett is director of missions.
