John Edwards III is the new pastor of Rocky Head Baptist Church, Ariton. He previously served as pastor of First Baptist Church Harold, Milton, Florida.
He has college credits from Tallahassee Community College in criminology and the University of Arkansas in retail business. Edwards also completed professional certifications in human resources and Six Sigma project management.
He has a 28-year retail background with Sam’s Club, 15 years in law enforcement and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He and his wife, Cynthia, have one daughter and two grandchildren.
