Members of Romar Beach Baptist Church, Gulf Shores, celebrated their fifth year at the seaside sanctuary and retreat center. Members presented flowers and a commemorative plaque to Pastor Paul Smith and his wife, Janet. The original beach house, which was repurposed as a chapel, was destroyed by Hurricane Ivan in 2004.
