Salem-Troy Baptist Association welcomes new DOM

Averyt Walker is the new director of missions for Salem-Troy Baptist Association, where he previously served as DOM before becoming pastor of St. John Baptist Church, Brundidge.

He also served as pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, Banks.

Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Troy University.

He and his wife, Brenda, have two children and five grandchildren.
