The Visiting Visual Artists at Samford University’s School of the Arts presents “Prints and Process: Recent Works by James Joshua Pickens” in Samford Art Gallery through Feb. 28, with a public reception for the artist Feb. 18, 4–6 p.m.
Pickens is adjunct instructor at The Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy, New York. In addition to his artwork and exhibitions, Pickens teaches introduction to furniture making, chair making, relief printmaking and art foundations.
The exhibit is open 9 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
