Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School will present its annual William E. Conger Jr. Lectures on Biblical Preaching Feb. 24–26 at 11 a.m. daily. Speaking on the theme “Proclaiming Jesus as Lord” will be faculty members Charles T. Carter on Feb. 24, Robert Smith Jr. on Feb. 25 and Doug Webster on Feb. 26.
The Feb. 24 service, a joint worship service with the Alabama Baptist State Evangelism Conference, will be in Wright Center concert hall. Joseph Hopkins, dean of and professor in the school of the arts at Samford, and his wife, Suzanne, will present music. Programs on the following days will be in Andrew Gerow Hodges Chapel.
