Beginning with the fall 2014 semester, Samford University’s Orlean Bullard Beeson School of Education will offer a master’s degree in elementary education in an online format.
The 30-hour program is designed for those who have completed a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and desire to gain knowledge and understanding of pedagogical concepts to impact their practice, the practice of others and learners in the kindergarten through sixth grade classroom.
Samford’s curriculum and instruction department also offers a master’s degree in gifted education, educational specialist degree in teacher leader and fifth-year alternative program in early childhood/elementary education designed for those who have earned a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree in another area and would like to be a certified teacher of infants–sixth grade.
