Sanders: Manila, Philippines

I’m sure many of you have seen reports of major flooding here in Manila and other parts of the Philippines. [On Sept. 26,] we were hit with a month’s worth of rain in just six hours. I’ve seen some of the damage firsthand. I was in another part of town [Sept. 26] for a radio interview. To make a long story short, I ended up staying overnight at the radio station compound. I managed to return home [the next] morning and saw some of the damage this typhoon has caused. I’ve never seen flooding like this (not in seven years).

I’m safe and sound but thousands have been affected. Please remember the flood victims in your prayers.
