Children attending the 2002 Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting with their parents in St. Louis this June will have an opportunity to experience missions through SBC DayCamp 2002.
With a theme of “Gateway for Missions,” the camp will be offered for boys and girls who will have completed grades one through six by June.
It will include fun and games, interaction with missionaries, and a hands on missions project. The registration deadline is May 27, but participants registering before May 1 get a discount.
The schedule is June 11, from 8a.m. to 5 p.m. (lunch included) and June 12, from 8 a.m. to noon. Parents also will be required to sign a medical release for their children.
Day campers should dress comfortably and are required to wear a day camp wristband, day camp T-shirt (provided through registration), soft-sole recreation shoes and socks.
Volunteers also are being enlisted.
