The Alabama School of the Arts at the University of Mobile is excited to bring back theater and music summer camps with options for students in grades 2 through 12.

Theater Summer Camp

If you love theater, spend two weeks on the campus of the University of Mobile learning from world-class instructors who are committed to providing an encouraging and professional experience. In this camp, you will grow as a performer through workshops in music, theater and dance.

The camp is for students ages 14–18 or who have completed grades 8 through 12.  The 10-day camp will take place Mondays through Fridays, June 10–14 and June 17–21. On June 21 at 7 p.m., there will be a final showcase performance to display all that the participants learned throughout the 10-day camp. There are two different camp options to choose from.

The first option includes intensives and the showcase rehearsals which will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Intensives will begin in the morning and conclude at 1:30 p.m. Showcase rehearsals will begin promptly at 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.

This option is $500 per student. A non-refundable down payment of $75 is required to secure a camp spot at registration. “Early Bird Specials” of $450 are also available for campers who pay a down payment before April 5, 2024.
