The Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association (SDEA) will host its seventh annual Central Alabama Pastor Appreciation Breakfast on Oct. 8, 8 a.m., at The Club in Birmingham.
The breakfast, which has always been held in Birmingham, was started to “provide a time of encouragement for the ministers of the local churches in central Alabama,” according to SDEA. The event seeks to “bring ministers together from different denominations, ethnicities and communities for a time of refreshment.”
This year’s guest speaker is Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin of The Potter’s House International Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida.
Bring a guest
All pastors in the area are invited to participate and may bring one other minister from the church as a guest. There will be door prizes provided by local businesses and sponsors.
