Seminar to train in tragedy relief

Seminar to train in tragedy relief

A neighbor’s son died in a car accident. Last week, a friend lost his job. Every day, a person can face some kind of tragedy. So how can the body of Christ be prepared to share hope in the midst of tragedy?

The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, part of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, will host Sharing Hope in Crisis, a one-day seminar Nov. 5 from 8:30 a.m.–4:15 p.m. at Mable Hill Baptist Church, Ardmore.

The seminar will train attendees (anyone 14 years old and over) in emotional/spiritual care, ministry skills in sharing God’s love and how to develop a crisis ministry team at a church or organization.
