Shady Grove Church, Danville, celebration

Shady Grove Church, Danville, will  hold Community Celebration 16 with the Neel Volunteer Fire Department Sept. 8. There will be a yard sale sponsored by Music & Missions, children ages 4 years–5th grade, 7 a.m.–noon. Come and sell your own things. For information call Hope McAbee at 256-751-4338. There will be a dessert baking contest and auction. Desserts need to be turned in by 2 p.m. To enter call the church at 256-773-5648. There will also be a youth lemonade stand, a Life South blood drive, a tractor show, blowups, music and entertainment, a moonwalk, a super slide and fireworks. Money raised will go toward Operation Christmas Child. Tom Campbell is pastor.
