Shady Grove Church, Danville, will hold a women’s conference June 12, 9 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with Carrie McDonnall, author of “Facing Terror” and founder of Carry On Ministries in Rowlett, Texas. McDonnall served as a missionary to Iraq with her husband, David. He and three others were killed in a terrorist attack. For information call 256-773-5648. Lunch will be provided.
