Psalms

Shane Barnard and Shane Everett are newcomers to the general market of Contemporary Christian music, but given their years of experience as worship leaders at gatherings around the country and numerous solo projects, they are no musical rookies.
The duo’s first release, “Psalms,” is a captivating collection of fresh worship songs that have been seasoned with a desire to know God more intimately.
“Psalms” is characterized by a great amount of vocal and instrumental prowess, but these talents are simply aids in communicating the message of the songs.
Five songs on the album are based on various passages from the book of Psalms.
Other songs that stand out on the album are “Breath of God,” which has a hammer dulcimer-driven chorus with a feel similar to the music of Rich Mullins, and “Job 19,” which proclaims, “May my life be written down because I know/ That my Redeemer lives.”
“Psalms” is a very well-rounded album that reveals the heart of Barnard and Everett. The duo passionately seeks to make the love and glory of God known to those who will listen.
