Shiloh Church, Somerville, new pastor

Charles Owens is the new pastor of Shiloh Church, Somerville. Owens comes to Shiloh from Fifth Street Church, Key West, Fla. A native of Gadsden, he previously served as pastor of Central Avenue Church, Gadsden; First Church, Southside; Sycamore Church, Sycamore; and First Church, Saks, in Anniston. Owens holds degrees from Jacksonville State University and Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Ga. He has done postgraduate work at New Orleans Seminary and Touro University International in Cypress, Calif. Owens and his wife, Pat, have four grown children.
