Q: What influences in your life pointed you to Christ at the beginning of your faith journey?
A: My father’s actions or choices he made in some difficult situations. There were opportunities that he could choose the world or Christ. And he chose Christ. Those (actions) spoke louder than any sermon I ever heard.
Q: When and how were you led into your ministry work?
A: The latter part of 2013. I just began to understand more and more how much God loves me and how much He has done for me. From that, out of obedience, I serve Him.
Q: What do you get from your ministry work?
A: I don’t look to get anything out of it. When you truly understand how much God loves you, you can’t help but serve Him.
Q: How do family members support you?
A: My wife is very supportive. Even though I work a lot of hours during the week and go and serve the Lord, she is very supportive. She is very encouraging to me. She is not selfish at all. My parents pray for me and I appreciate that. My in-laws have bought me study books and they support me.
Q: What does your ministry work demand?
A: It requires me to spend time in God’s Word, seeking what He would have me to share. It requires time away from my family. It requires a lot of prayer and meditation on God’s Word.
Q: How do you see yourself involved in this in the future?
A: For the college, I’ll just serve in any way I can. In Cattle for Christ, I hope to get to speak more in front of people about the ministry. Cattle for Christ is an international ministry about spreading the love of Christ around the world.
Q: What difference will this ministry work make for you in the future?
A: I hope to get to experience God through it, strengthen my faith as I see Him work through it, see His power, get to experience the Holy Spirit, see things that you pray for come true.
Q: What difference has Jesus Christ made in your life?
A: Everything. Anything I ever do that is good and pleasing to God is because of Him. Though I’m not perfect, generally I try to make my motive for everything I do on earth Christ and what He did for me on the cross.
