Q: Who was or is one of the most influential people in your faith life? Why?

A: Dad (along with Mom) was the most influential person in my life. Dad was a pastor and mentored me from childhood. Fond memories I have are of lying on my bed … asking questions to Dad about the Bible, doctrine and so forth. Even as a child I was amazed by Dad’s love for other people.

Q: What has God been teaching you lately?

A: Wow, He has been teaching me so much lately that I cannot include it all. Definitely He has emphasized over and over that life is short and I must be busy for Him now for tomorrow may be too late.

Q: If there was one thing you could tell your younger self about faith, what would it be?

A: If I could go back in time and speak to the young “Robbie Jackson” I would tell him to be disciplined for godliness. The Holy Spirit honors godly discipline and self-control. I would tell him to do everything for the glory of God. I know this attitude would have led to a greater testimony and witness when I was young.
