Southside Church, Birmingham, will host the Birmingham Bible Reading Marathon sponsored by local churches May 1–5. The event will begin Sunday at 6 p.m. and will conclude on Thursday, the National Day of Prayer, at 11:30 a.m. Individuals can sign up to read aloud in 15-minute increments for 90 hours around the clock.
