Southside Church, Birmingham, will host the Birmingham Bible Reading Marathon sponsored by local churches April 29–May 3. The event will begin Sunday at 6 p.m. and will conclude on Thursday, the National Day of Prayer, at 11:30 a.m. Individuals of all ages can sign up to read aloud in one or more 15-minute increments for 90 hours around the clock. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled reading time. A large print Bible will be available on the podium, however, readers are invited to read from their own Bible and in their native language. For information call 205-969-1236.
