Southside Church, Decatur, staff change

Benjamin M. Hayes is the new pastor of Southside Church, Decatur. He comes to the position from Friendship Church, Bon Secour. Hayes has also served several other churches in Alabama and Louisiana. A native of Florida, Hayes holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mobile and a master of divinity and doctor of ministry from New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife, Sonya, have two children.
