Samford University’s spring 2009 semester enrollment increased over spring 2008. Total enrollment for 2009 is 4,298, up 61. The increases primarily were in graduate programs. Spring semester classes began Jan. 26. Fall semester enrollment was 4,469. Spring semester enrollments typically are lower than fall, largely because of graduation. Samford graduated 265 at the end of the fall semester.
