Spring Hill Church, Mobile, staff change

Paul Sands is the new pastor of Spring Hill Church, Mobile, effective Jan. 9. He comes from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he was associate professor of theology. He also has taught in the religion department at Baylor and at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Sands has more than 30 years of ministry experience having served as pastor or interim pastor of six churches. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, master of theology from Southwestern Seminary and doctor of philosophy in systematic theology from Baylor. Sands and his wife, Linda, have three children.
