Dwight Wilson is the new pastor of Spring Valley Baptist Church, Tuscumbia.
Following his undergraduate work at the University of North Alabama, Wilson received two master’s degrees from Southwestern Seminary. He was previously pastor of several churches in Marion and Colbert counties, and served with the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries from 1998 to 2017.
He counsels on Tuesdays at the Colbert-Lauderdale Association office. Wilson and his wife, Virginia, have three children; their middle child passed away in 2021. They have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
