How often do we stop and consider the judgment used in managing the funds of our churches? Recently I watched an associate minister of one the larger churches on TV boasting about his church having just completed a $130 million remodeling and renovation of their church facilities. $130,000,000.00! How frequently do we ponder the judgment and management when we see palatial church complexes costing in the millions yet are only utilized on the average less than 12 hours weekly? This while we have scores of needy families, homeless, the elderly, children at risk, even the unemployed within walking distance of our cozy buildings?

Are we being good stewards of God’s money? How do you think Jesus would react to our behavior today?
