Erupting volcanoes, tropical birds and odd insects will have one thing in common in 2006 — they will all come under close observation and examination by students and faculty of Judson College’s biology department, who plan to depart April 18 for a two-week, first-ever international study-abroad trip to Costa Rica.
Thomas Wilson, head of the biology department at Judson, was instrumental in making the course, Tropical Ecosystems of Costa Rica, a reality. He and his wife spent two weeks in Costa Rica this past spring studying the region. For more information visit www.wilsonbiology.info.
