Sunday School teachers honored

Sadie Merle Whitcomb (right) receives a plaque from Paul Whitcomb (center), chairman of deacons, and Pastor Fred Freeman in honor of her service as a Sunday School teacher at Providence Baptist Church, Gallion, in Bethel Baptist Association. She is still teaching after more than 60 years. Margaret Cross was also honored with a plaque because she is still teaching Sunday School after more than 64 years.
