HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police had an easy time apprehending a man who apparently was attempting to rob a High Point, N.C. church. The man was found stuck and hanging out of a small bathroom window at Eastside Baptist Temple. Neighbors heard the man’s cries for help about 5:30 a.m. and called police.
It took four officers — two inside and two outside — to free six-foot, 235-pound Ronald Stutts, the 48-year-old suspect. Police said Stutts had taken about $12 worth of painting supplies from the church. He was charged with larceny and breaking and entering.
