Tallapoosa Baptist Association on mission

Barry Cosper, director of missions (DOM) for Tallapoosa Baptist Association, led a team of 12 pastors, DOMs and music evangelists to Australia Aug. 20–Sept. 3.

The team members, who were from Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi, were split into groups, traveling across areas like New South Wales where they led revivals at churches and spoke in public schools and at community events.

Approximately 300 decisions, mostly for salvation and rededication, were made as a result of the revivals, Cosper said.

“God showed up,” he said. “God intervened and so many lives were supernaturally changed. The beauty of that is that they want us to come back and do revival again.”
