Peter J. Tcherneshoff, former director of missions (DOM) for Friendship and Marshall Baptist associations, died Dec. 30. He was 79. Tcherneshoff graduated from Howard College (now Samford University) in Birmingham and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
