Amazing Love

Some may remember Terry Warren as an All-American linebacker with Florida State University who signed to play with the Dallas Cowboys only to have a training camp incident that resulted in a broken back end his football career.
Others may remember his first musical effort, “Lifted Up by Angels,” a well-received independently released first album.
Either way, most think of Warren as a man who excels at whatever he does. His sophomore album, “Amazing Love” on Lamon Records, continues that history of success, producing his fourth No. 1 song on the NCM (New Christian Music) Euro Chart.
Recorded in Nashville with a stellar group of studio musicians, “Amazing Love” combines upbeat, rock-inflected pop on songs such as “God You’re Beautiful” with impressive reinterpretations of some classic hymns. There really is something here for everybody. The album ends with a prayer, “Bring Him Home,” Warren’s rendition from his on-Broadway role of Jean Valjean in “Les Miserables.”
While not as edgy or rock oriented as much of contemporary Christian music these days, Warren has produced a solid album that will bring a lot of pleasure to a wide-ranging audience.
